Coming from two different backgrounds, long time hairstylists Devon Brucculeri and Veronica Sousa had a vision for a hair salon of their own. Branching out to create a unique space, they wanted an atmosphere that not only reflected the professionalism of their work, but also to bring back the glamour and social aspect of a 50’s hair salon. Devon has over 15 years of experience in the hair industry, with an expertise in all aspects of hair cutting, styling and colouring. Having taken courses in New York City, London England and Montreal, Devon is not only a well-rounded stylist, but also driven to keep up with the advancements of the industry. Devon prides herself in her education. By attending shows, seminars and product knowledge classes, Devon has become a renowned stylist within the city, and is sure not to miss a beat with today’s styling trends.
Devon’s passion lies in her clients’ reaction. She takes pride in making peoples ideas into a reality and is a firm believer in if you look good, you feel good. “The initial expression of a client’s face when they see their new desired look is the reason why I style hair with as much passion as I possible can.”
Veronica comes from an inventive and creative editorial stylist background. She has over 10 years experience, and universal with all aspects of hair; cutting, colouring and styling. With an impressive resume, Veronica has worked as a hair stylist for CH News, Hamilton Fashion Week, as well as in the fashion section of the Hamilton Spectator. Working closely with photographers and stylists, Veronica also has an extensive portfolio of editorial work that she has created over the years.
With all these years of experience and a apart of the Colour Trophy Competition from L’Oreal, Veronica continues to push herself in the hair industry. Her passion lies in the creative aspect of hair – each new style is a form of art.
